6th All Greece Kendo Championships 2010
From 7 - 9 May held the 6th National Championship Kendo and examinations 2nd to 1st kyu, 1st to 3rd Dan in Athens at the sports center DAIS.
The organization was so good and the playing level sufficiently high that it could certainly be said that there was a domestic championship but a European.
The Renma dojo participated in the event with 11 athletes. Three category of Kyu and 8 in the category of Dan.
The first day started with a group of people kyu level men. In this category, our dojo participated with the Karakitsous G., Papazoglou T, and Tarnava C. Although it passed the pull failed to qualify in the semifinals.
The individual men Dan level had more entries with 8 athletes. They Nikolouzos N, kimeris S, Dimitris Katsoulis, Kioustelidis V, Komitopoulo D,Galanakis D, Mygdalis S and Patrikios S. All athletes have moved to pull, but only Nikolouzos and Katsoulis in the semifinals. The result was the final to face and to sempai Katsoulis crowned champion again. So the dojo gave us 1-2 in the division.
The next day we had the team category where possible, and after games, the dojo we found the final. After anametriseis possible with dojo Ken Kan of Volos crowned champions.
Our dojo had an additional gain. The fighting spirit of Excellence (fighting spirit), who won the player we Galanakis D.
A big thanks to our friends that we saw on the field, showing that the Kendo, what we love to do together. Also the other members of dojo, Joanna, Danae, Marietta, Helen, Helen junior, Jessica, James, John, George and the families of our athletes found next to us.

Spring kendo seminar with sensei W.W.Demski.
Renma Dojo, under the aegis of the Greek Kendo Iaido Naginata Federation (e.o.k.i.N) and in cooperation with the Furyu Dojo, would like to invite you to a 4-day spring seminar, from 10 to 13 May, under the guidance of Wolfgang Wladislaus Demski sensei 7th Dan kendo kyoshi.
Sensei Wolfgang Demski is honorary President of the German Kendo Federation and one of the most popular teachers in Europe and Greece.
It is a particular honor for us to have an important and popular sensei with many years presence and experience in kendo who, especially in our country, has contributed the utmost to the development of this sport.
It is important to emphasize that it is the first time that such a seminar is organized in Athens under the guidance of Demski sensei .

Visit of Sensei in Renma Dojo
Our Dojo continuing the effort to improve the knowledge and level of our athletes will be hosted from 8 to 31 of March Mr. Nobuyuki Ohno sensei 5 Dan kendo from Fukuoka, known to many of us from his previous visit to Greece. His presence will strengthen the efforts of the athletes of our dojo in the demanding program of the new year and help them develop and improve their skills for the future.
